I get asked this question all the time. Some people are just curious, and not planning to use it to their advantage (or disadvantage in my view). As a DUI Lawyer in Las Vegas NV, I guess I’m just the right target for people that are curious about the subject.
There is simply no excuse for using this information to skirt the law; however I will entertain this question and answer it as best as I can.
Based upon the callflow of my customers and clients, I can ascertain that you are most likely to get pulled over at about 10 p.m. till about 4 a.m. especially on weekends. The hot spot of the week is Friday night and Saturday morning.
If you think about it it’s just logical. These are the most obvious party times, when people either go out to a bar, or to a club, or hang out with friends and just drink. And then when it comes time for them to go home, they make the very bad decision to step behind a wheel, and put everybody’s life in danger, including their own.
Now I do not put out this information so that people will use it and drive around those times. I do not want people to think that I promote this sort of irresponsibility. I am only entertaining this because I have to blog about something right? And this seems to be a very interesting topic that people always bring up with me.
So I am here to tell you don’t drink and drive; don’t do drugs and drive; because on Friday and Saturday night you are very highly likely to get pulled over. Perhaps just do those things in your home safe and sound, or sleepover at a friend’s house if you get toasted. Even better, take a taxi or use a ride hailing service.
